It’s been a very cold spring. Some farmers say the coolest, grayest and wettest on record. Well, enough of the bleak news. Things are starting to grow. We will have FRESH spinach, chard, cucumbers, baby bok choy, beat greens radishes and more from Marshland Orchards up the river in Maultby.

Nollies will be serving up gourmet hot lunch items made from local ingredients. So grab lunch and go for a scenic cruise around Lake Union aboard the “Fremont Avenue” – What a great relaxing way to spend lunch.
The Virginia V has just been recently painted. She is looking great. Come on down and learn about her history as the last remaining steamship built in 1922 to carry farm goods to Seattle.
FarmBoat will also be signing people up for CSA deliveries around Lake Union. Be sure to ask about our “Farm Kids at Sea” program. Only a limited number of lakeside residents will be able to join this year. But how cool would that be to get weekly deliveries of fresh organic produce delivered to your floating home!
