Nollies is back after taking a break last week from the barrage of taco trucks that descended on the park. Nollies will have soups, farm fresh salads, pasties, sausage and baked goods. FarmBoat debuts restored antique skiff for dockside market at Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival. The Cvita is a farm scow built in the 1930’s for beach seine (net) salmon fishing and ship to shore cargo transport along the shores of the Lower Columbia River. These types of vessels were often used by farmers to transport crops from the beach to waiting steamers.

Patrons gather to sample fresh local strawberries and cherries at the dock and learn about FarmBoat programs. The Annual Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival is hosted by the Center for Wooden Boats. This year’s event is open to the public through July 4th weekend.

The goodies Nollies is serving up this Thursday include (but are definitely not limited to): Wild Rice and Kale Salad, Caprese Salad, Gluten-Free Pasta Salad, Perfect Protein Salad, Cookies (chocolate chip, orange creamsicle, deep dark chocolate, snickerdoodle, molasses) an assortment of gluten-free baked goods (cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls), fruit empanadas, muffins, and coffee.
